About this event
Give a little time and make a big difference in the Parish of Martock. Meet friendly local people, ask questions and find a role that fits the time you can give.
Everyone is welcome and no special experience is needed, just enthusiasm, kindness and a willingness to help. Training and support will be provided where needed.
This event is run by Martock Parish Council at the Parish Hall in Martock, not at The Angel.
What to expect
- •Wednesday Club support: cuppa, conversation and wellbeing activities
- •Job Club support: helping job seekers find employment opportunities
- •Befriending and companionship: helping reduce loneliness and isolation
- •Community events and activities: lending a hand with local projects
- •Environmental and outdoor projects: supporting green spaces and facilities
