About The Angel
Our story
The Angel was created to bring a historic building back to life as a place for everyone. Operated by SBA CIC, we have transformed the space into a thriving community hub, combining a welcoming café with training opportunities, community events, local services and activities that bring people together.
We believe community spaces should be accessible, affordable and welcoming to everyone.
Our vision
To create a thriving community where everyone feels welcome, connected and valued, with The Angel at its heart. We believe that a community café can be much more than somewhere to eat and drink. It can be a place where friendships are made, opportunities begin, skills are developed, businesses grow, and no one feels alone.

To provide an affordable, welcoming community hub that brings people together through great food, meaningful connections, learning opportunities and practical support.
